The steeple stretch is a stretching exercise that can help improve flexibility in the shoulders and upper back. To do it:
1. Stand or sit up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Extend both arms straight out in front of you.
3. Interlock your fingers with your palms facing away from your body.
4. Keeping your arms straight, slowly lift them up and overhead.
5. Try to reach as high as you can without straining.
6. Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, feeling the stretch in your shoulders and upper back.
7. Gently release and lower your arms.
Remember to breathe deeply and relax into the stretch. Repeat as needed to improve flexibility and reduce tension in the upper body.
